Requirements and Qualifications:
- HD Diesel Mechanic Trade Certificate with a minimum of 10 years’ experience post trade.
- Heavy Road Vehicle knowledge essential and component rebuild/field service experience.
- Current HR/HC Class Driver’s License.
- Ability to work unsupervised effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to lead a team
- Strong work ethic, energetic, proactive and solution orientated.
- Experience with service reporting and service literature.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Customer Service Advisor (Wollongong)
Southern Truck Centre Pty Ltd is seeking to appoint a Customer Service Advisor. The role will be based at the Wollongong dealership.
You will ensure the customers’ needs and expectations are met throughout their Southern Truck Centre experience, from the first customer point of contact, following through with communication on vehicle updates & completing administration tasks as required. You will also be required to sell workshop hours by identifying opportunities & services available to our customers if & when required.
To be successful you will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a dealership environment in a customer facing role
- Exceptional customer service, negotiation & sales skills
- Experienced in general administration and sound computer skills
- Strong interpersonal skills coupled with ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy and high volume environment
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
- Working knowledge of workshop systems and processes
